Food City 500
On Sunday, the NASCAR Nextel Cup goes to the Bristol Motor Speedway for the Food City 500. After four races this season, Jimmie Johnson leads the NEXTEL Cup Series standings. He’s had four top fives, including a win in Las Vegas, and owns an 82-point margin over Greg Biffle. Biffle leads a group of four Roush Racing teammates (Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch and Mark Martin) who had stellar beginnings and sit second through fifth in the championship standings.

Look For the Roush boys to keep on rollin. Kurt Busch should be strong after 4 wins in the last 6 races here. Should be a great race.

A great shame the Busch race was washed out.

Congrats to Kevin and the RCR boys. It looks like they are finally getting there act together. All three cars ran well despite the accidents.

Good race, even if Casey was out early.

Great result for Kyle Petty. His first top-10 since the first Talladega race in 2002, when he finished 10th, and, also his best result since his 7th place in the 1999 Daytona 500. I thought that Terry Labonte was a little unlucky. Second race in succession that the #44 didn't get the strategy right. Could have been a top-10, given that he was significantly faster than the #45, #10, #40 and #15.

RCR also swept the first two spots in the Monday Busch race Harvick winning and Burton second. Glad to see them up front again.

Bristol is one of my favorite races but I was a little dissapointed in the race Sunday. There were too many cars that were contenders taken out of the race or made into non-contenders.
