Got F1C, Got me a problem
My force feedback keeps see-sawing from side to side, makes it near impossible to drive, got RH2004 and Proto-c jusnow, looking on Boomtown for SCC
p.s. it was £15 off eBay! |

if you have a logitech wheel, set FF to negative numbers. logitech wheels tend to feel as if the wheel is steering for you if youve positive ff settings in game.

15 pounds thats cheap, seen them for much more!
Sorry, can you expand on what you mean. Is it happening while driving in a straight line? or only when going round corners? Does it happen in F1C as well as the mods? Alot of the mods have detailed forcefeed back settings, maybe its just needs adjusting to suit. |

It works Ok in all my other games - spanner, it does it at seemingly random intervals, it will suddenly jolt to one side and then the other, had the same problem in GTR and fixed it by checking then unchecking the reverse effects button - will making the force feedback strength from 100% to -100% and back have the same effect?
And it happens in the mods aswell |

Do you set the limits of the wheel up prior to starting the games? I tend to rotate the wheel and push the pedals to there full extents while at the desktop. Do the windows control panel effects work ok?
Does sound strange, that the force feedback kicks in randomly. |
