Qatar - And stuff.
The Sub needs a Sub - Jacque is out following a crash in the gravel.
Colin Edwards thinks he can win today. And good on him! Whodaman? Toni Elias was so hot he was burning in practice, finishing second. As it were he's qualified in 9th, his best this season iirc. Nakano out did both Suzukis, Nakano lines up in seventh, while KRJR and Hopper line up 11th and 12th. Biaggi having a torrid time lines up 13th, Barros 14th, and good ol' Shakey Shane Byrne, p17 just ahead of the WCMs. |

Today confirms Gibernau has lost the plot. What is he doing?
As the Eurosport commentators said, it's like he's trying to win races in one corner. And throwing it off every time as a result. At least today he got some points. But anyways....what a race! Fantastic scraps up front all the way. Melandri and Rossi put on some show. I'm confused as to how fast the Yamaha appears to be in a straight line now.....they couldn't get near Hondas on the straights this time last year, even in a slipstream! |

They're having engine issues and as they're on the fly away races they can't get the parts they need, so they're going to pull out for the fly aways and concentrate on the 125s until they get back to europe.
Btw, Gabor Talmasci for the win! |

All 3 races were IMO fantastic. A great 125cc race, Talmasci was right with Kallio all through the race and whilst I didnt think he would try and make the move I thought he was capable. Did Kallio know that Talmasci was going to go for the win though? I didnt see the press confrence. Either way a great race IMO.
The 250's were good too, good win for Stoner. Shame to see Pedrosa so out of sorts, he and Stoner could have made a real good race. Still good to see the Aprillas doing so well, the Hondas have sort of dominated this season IMO. Moto GP was just fantastic, shame Sete messed up as I really thought that this might be one of the races he could challenge Rossi at this year, a great showing by both Rossi and Melandri though, those last few laps were great. Interesting to see the Yamaha out dragging the Hondas on the main straight, and people say the Yamahas are down on power! Hmm, ok then. |

Three races to go....25pts up for a win (75 for the three)...the 250cc's is alive and well in 2005
Great win by Casey - he has fought back brillaintly to keep the championship alive. Win or loose MotoGP would be crazy if it didnt come a knocking on Casey's door... |
