Seriously though, the last info. said two weeks before the event, so I guess the details should be arriving sometime this week?

Not sure how accurate or up to date this timetable is, but it's the one advertised on Silverstone's website

Plenty of 'socialising' time on Saturday, finished by 16:15!!!

I wish the MSA would acknowlage receipt of the card you send back so you know it hasn't gone astray in the post. A simple page on there website, listing everyone who has replied so you know. It would be peace of mind for marshals who have family that have bought tickets to be with you.

Don't think you're going loopy, although that does help ,my mate sends his card back in an envelope, complete with a return SAE as well ,tends to ease his nerves

For the record, If you first had an invite from the MSA and sent your card back there should be no problem.... if the MSA did not recieve your card back they would have sent another letter asking you if you were still available..etc etc

Roys1, I did'nt know that either and I've done 13 British GPs. I used to worry that the postcard had been lost in the post too.
Live and learn Eh?
Shame I've given up on F1

Not wishing to undertake a 700 mile round trip back home from Croft to collect my passes, I contacted MSA Intl. GP Committee this morning. Was informed instructions & passes will be mailed out, First Class, today.

Oh what is it with all this faffing. The tickets always arrive with about this amount of time to go. I would have predicted today, but I suppose being a day out isn't to bad, especially as we've had a bank holiday.

Those of us with extensive travel, prior race meeting committments and a reason to be 'on site' early have good reason for 'faffing' when there's only a couple of days left before departure and no sign of passes. Now, if I lived in the soft under belly of the South with only an hours drive ahead of me......and dives for cover

Sorry I wasn't just aiming that at you! Every year we have the same faffing over tickets and every year the same stuff gets said about people not sorrying and so on and so forth!

I could have been in a similar position to you but changed my plans as I have to be at home as am currently helping to arrange a race meeting for the same weekend as the GP. I wish I only had an hours drive from leaving my house to getting to silverstone will be about 3 hours in total done over a couple of days cos i have to go here there and everywhere!

I am really looking forward to the GP and can't wiat to find out where I am!
