First NASCAR Nextel Cup pole for Toyota (Blaney)!

Montoya 5th quickest.

With Sorensen 3th Ganassi is doing very well at this track.

I am so jealous - two of my so-called friends just rang to tell me they are at the track this weekend and then staying on for a ten day roadtrip. Looks like they're gonna see an interesting race if the times so far are anything to go on!

Hopefully with a good starting position Juan will have a good race, and possibly get his first oval win the week after his first Nextel Cup win.

Johnson, Montoya, and Gordon were the 3 quickest in practice yesterday. Montoya has a car capable of winning at Loudon and this should be his chance to show that he can win on an oval. Hamlin though continues to impress me and is probably one of the best drivers to come along for a while and should be a top 10 at Loudon.

Great battle for the win. One or two more laps and we would have had a different winner. I will rate the race an 8 out of 10.

Brian Vickers got disqualified after the car was deemed too low

he did qualify 25th but will be going home, it's a shame, the 83 is the best Toyota team IMO, they just suck at qualifying, when they get in they go great.

Just spoke to Setanta, they havn't put the cricket in the planner, or on the website listing but they say they are going to stay with it as "we don't interrupt live sport" so what about one of the other channels "your guess is a good as mine we are getting loads of complaints and I've already been on to head office but theres nothing I can do". Its a joke. I'd understand if it was Ireland or a sport big there but why India Vs SA?

After the last Caution was good, and Hamline getting loose of the last corner coming to the chequers was exciting. Other than that I was kinda bored :S Too bad for Carl Edwards, that's the 2nd time the car has dropped off the jack this season, I think it might have happened once last season too.
