Take a look at www.bookatrack.co.uk - not sure where you're based but I]m pretty sure you could get a cheap track day for less than £150.

It may not be gravel based but at least you'd get some track time (especially if you chose an 'open pitlane' trackday rather than a sessioned one.

Just a thought. Blyton might be convenient for you.

Although for a true 'test' surly Blyton is realistically the ony place to go in terms of setting a car up for a rallycross circuit etc.

If you book Blyton, you can spend ALL day and do as many laps as you want etc!

We will be there soon with my new car when its finished!

A fair point HRacing - had only considered monetary aspect in itself and not in light of the set up aspect too.

On that front Blyton is probably best!

Thanks all !!
Phoned Blyton but got the impression they were'nt interseted.Except for Rally Drive who they put me on to.He will instruct for the day in your car or his
but you cant use the track its self.just the tarmac and a special mud section.
Reasonable cost considering the tuition but not what i wanted .Thats life!!

It's just a thought but have you given Bill Gwynne Rallyschool a call to find out if they've got a track or circuit or something that you could test your car on? They appear to be increasingly evident (sponsoring?) in Rallycross and perhaps they've got some suggestions.

I know you don't want tuition - I'm just suggesting you give them a call and see if they've got a venue you could use.

Sound like you rang the rally school that is based at Blyton. They arent allowed onto the rallycross circuit.
If you pm me i can give you a number to call to get onto the rallycross track so you can practice as much as you like!
