DMN Lydden 8th September

So...whos going to be there?

Again this meeting is the Festival of Speed, we have the long circuit racing in the morning, and then in the afternoon we have the short oval stuff...including the National Hot Rods, the first time they have been to Lydden for 21 years and it is a world qualifying round.

Also again this year we have the TRUCKS returning again.

We have plenty of spaces left at the moment. Please can you get your entries in soon to ensure that we can get the split in the grid sorted nice and early.

I'm there snapping away as per usual. I'm not sure if I'm there for the afternoon though as I could rush off to Brands for the SemSec meeting...

Yes indeed! The trucks were quite impressive last year. Especialy the one that was sideways through Paddock on every lap!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Hot Rods. (and "borrowing" a red top when they're looking the other way)

I don't think that camping is available before the meeting this year.

I'm not sure, I think they may be being allowed, but I know after some trouble last year the majority of camping has been stopped.

Well I know the banger guys and the rest of the short oval lot are being advised there is no camping on Friday night, but they are being allowed to stay on the saturday night as there is a meeting on sunday at Dover.

I am unsure about the long circuit guys.

Looks like I'm going to have to miss it this year - wife needs Taxi to Bournmouth- Hopefully brother will be up and running by then. If I can get back in time I'll be down to watch whatever's left.
Not all bad though ! After a good winge to swmbo, I've provisionaly traded it for a days testing at the ring in November

There is very limited access on Friday (Camso V8s and DMN mainly). Camso are being parked behind the scrutineering bay this year, and their races are going to be longer (same as National hot rods, which IS a world qualifier).
