http://www.qrda.asn.au/ I was in it last year and i managed to pick up a prize in the last round (thanks crash ) So visit http://www.qrda.asn.au/ and go to the tipping comp page and register. |

Prize wise- I've given up with an overall sponsor- it seems to be the kiss of death...
A few years ago we had 'Road and Race' sponsor the comp, luckily most winners were capable of claiming their prizes before they went bust. Last year I signed up the 'V8 Experience' to give the winner a really top prize, but of course they went bust midseason. This year I had someone lined up, but it fell through (and I'd fell shyte knowing that my comp sunk another Australian business ). So at this stage it'll probably be 5 photos for each round winner, and I'll try and sort out some more knick knacks throughout the season. |

hehehe @ gtr
mt- buggered if i know why i did that... i think you asked for some form the workshop, but I can't seem to find my ones of the old cars. Speaking of the DJR workshop, I was down there yesterday, not only is there Norm Beechey's old Falcon in the museum, but they are also preparing an EB inside the workshop.... hrmmmm, will it be for the museum, or some form of Larry-styled retro Bathurst blitz?? |

I've got a photo in a book somewhere of the MHDT signwriter puting signs on Dick's XE at Bathurst. Of course, he had to do it publicly, in full team uniform.
Norm Beechey had a Falcon?????????? He was a GM man through and through! What is this Larry retro blitz you speak of? |

Norm Beechey in a falcon? I know.... I didn't know you could get drunk on raw orange juice... but I was proven wrong....
Bathurst 1996- Larry went back to the VP at Bathurst because they cut the VS front undertray. |

So was it a Beechey car or was it a Falcon and what on Earth are they doing with an EB?
I remember touring there years ago when ELs were current and they had a couple of caged EB shells in the rafters and I thought what are they doing with them? Well nothing at the time, they were in primer coat and very dusty. |

Maybe if I go back next week I can look at the car again... let's just pretend it's Moffat's car, and that I never said anything
