Both Newman and Johnson are good. But I favor Newman for his time well spent learning race craft in USAC and midgets. I have no idea what Johnson's creds are but they are also good because it takes more than just a good car to run like he has.

Ryan Newman by a country mile. Jimmie Johnson is good and has surprise me so far but he has been driving stock cars much longer than Ryan.
