Bahamas Speed Week Revival 2013
Came back from Bahamas Speed Week revival mid December just got round to posting a few photos. As in previous years the format was a high speed tour of the Island with Derek Bell hitting over 140 MPH on open roads, a hillclimb and a sprint. It is hoped that for 2014 a circuit will be built.

Great pics, thanks Alan! Appreciate your time posting them for us. Think I remember the black Sprite from last year? Despite red being THE Ferrari colour, most of their cars, like that Daytona, look soo good in yellow.
The Studebaker doesn't seem to have much in the way of silencers...... |

The Studebaker is a Studebaker Commander Starlight from 1953 with a factory installed NASCAR spec V8. I believe it was used in either the Panamericana races or similar road races. The Studebaker was very noisy when running, well spotted on the lack of silencers.

Thanks, Gordon! Preferably one that is a bit slimmer and still has a pulse! (but respect to the great Hattie Jacques, a legend).
Now back to topic, before I have to moderate myself! |
