7 from me. Cracking circuit but overall not the most interesting of races so a couple of points off. Only one spinner, no crashes, all retirements took place in the pits.
Some great overtakes though. |

7 for me.... not that much on track highlights, but a great looking circuit, and a tactical nailbiter. And i think all but the most hardened max hater or lewis lover would be happy max won. He dominated completely and that crowd! After all the drama of the last few races it was great to have a good clean hard fought proper race

Got a 6 from me.
Yeah, the track is nice, but the gaps for the top 6 became to big too soon, and the battle for the lead never really materialized because of traffic. |

5. Nice / interesting track. Reasonable race in parts, not a classic.

Like the track, think it has to be fun for GTs but F1 was more of a technical/strategy race than on track. And focus on front, Perez charging and Stroll/Russell meant we didn't see much else.

Track was good but it just showed how much the midfield teams are struggling to match the RBR and mercs cars. gave it a 6

A possibly generous 8 - but I just loved the track and despite Max's edge, it was never a foregone conclusion as the strategies played out. None of the forecast Safety Cars/red flags, and some good overtaking!

Great track but I think not really suited to current F1 cars making the race more strategic than wheel to wheel exciting.

Around an 8 for me.
A tidy race and fun weekend. Strategy kept me watching and I thought the fans were really great and were rewarded with a win by their local hero. Agreed not a classic for us in TV land but i suspect an event to remember by all in attendance. |

Seriously? This was a snooze fest.
Everyone thinks it looks great, and the banking does makes it fast and very visually appealing. But, the race? If it were not for Perez and Alonso nothing would have happened! Sure, it looked great, but it was boring. A 5. |

7. Lovely to watch (and remember). Shame the straight has been truncated so much but love the final banked bend and the first three corners. As a race, no, not that great, Max was in complete control all weekend.

2 for the race, 8 for atmosphere and circuit (-2 for a bit of booing and lack of overtaking) averages out to 5.....not the most exciting GP....just one that never really sparked into life but a cool circuit. Unfortunately having seen various series race on this circuit, i kinda knew what we were in for. |

I once saw a GT race at Zandvoort, and the commentators where quite enthusiastic. Me not being that knowledgeable about touring cars thought that maybe that was how it should look. It was quite processional and boring. I guess I knew what we where in for...

The track looks really fun to drive on when you're the only car doing so.
For a race ... not that great. |

Unfortunately I had to watch highlights on C4, so one never gets the full flavour of a race. They've done a great job with the new track and I like the banking, which is something different. 6,

6. The track is "interesting" but doesn't promote much racing.
