Yeah, it's been out for about a week now. I've only done one lap, but it's absolutely brilliant.
It's not the full 37 mile course, it's been reduced to 15 miles, and has 198 turns. This was done because tracks longer than 25km do not work in GPL. It's very very fast. Maybe i'll go do some more laps You might want to head to the RSC sim addons/edits and pick up the 16-bit addon too |

Oh, and if you run into someone called Welfman, do get the replays that there are links too in his signature, they're amazing!

Craig, it's still absolutely fantastic. You'd never really be bothered by the fact it's not the full length. It's been done by reducing the straights, and taking out some of the less significant corners, but it still has all the famous corners, think of it as a scaled down version of the full circuit. A lot of thought went into keeping the same flow, and same characteristics of the TT course, and the end result is superb, and you should definitely not be put off by the fact it's not 37 miles.

Sorry, I'm no gameplayer, was just interested when I heard I might be able to drive the course on my PC - if it had have been the full course I'd have bought it!
I'm sure it's still very good but, if it's not the real thing, I'll just have to stick to my memories of driving round the course recently! |

I drive round part of it every day. It's not quite as interesting with bin wagons and milk trucks coming towards you.

hi Bathurst.
The track is made for a game called Grand Prix Legends (GPL) It's based off the 1967 season. It only allows tracks of 25km or less, which is why it had to be scaled down to 15 miles. (it's not even the exact layout. It has been adjusted so that the scaled down version retains the same flow at the proper track. |
