Quote:"In fact ... I didn't know the rule existed before what happened last weekend."
Me neither..but the teams do, which basically is enough. Quote:"but on the other hand, I would like to see as much cars as possible start the race..." JPM could start..merely couldn't finish Strange that last year, Stewards are blamed for making hasty decisions..this year, stewards are blamed for making slow decisions. Don't get me wrong here. IMO, FIA was too slow and should have barred JPM/Williams asap. To take so long isn't good, but FIA said they need to view the tape and time him, and due to the penalty involved and the time infringement, they need to be careful. So basically, FIA wanted to be fair to JPM, so really we can't fault FIA for that. It may be a silly rule to some, but it's still a rule no less. For some to call for it's change because it affects the show and/or JPM's penalised would have simply meant that we are getting our priority mixed. |
