I'd say the Volvo got sold as a demonstrator (was standard, remember?).
The TR8 went to a club rally driver and got written off. Bob Blandford still has the PRO 706 number plates on his rally car - either on his Mk 2 Corona or the Rover SD1 he built. I don't know if it was Bob who killed the Triumph, though. Kramer |
