Did Michelin apologize for their blame?

Michelin quickly expressed their statements at their web site, after the race. However, some Japanese fans who read the press release translated into Japanese by Michelin are angry (or embarrassed) with Michelin's attitude.
The reason why they think so is Michelin doesn't apologize in the press release translated into Japanese.

The French word "REGRET" was translated into the English word "SORRY" ,and was translated into the Japanese word "IKAN", but "IKAN" has double meanings. The one is "I'm sorry to my faults" ,and the orher one is "I blame you your faults". So the Japanese have some distrust of Michelin.

In your country, what impression do you have about Michelin's attitude(concering Michelin's press release)?
How do you think about whether Michelin have a feeling to be sorry for the fans?

Thank you for your reading my poor English.
