Recovery of the Day Award
Post 4a (outside of Paddock Hill Bend) at Brands hatch has been voting for the winner of the Inaugral "Recovery of the Weekend" award for this weekend's Mini Festival. This is an award not for the best recovery drive through the pack after losing time but rather for the best recovery from an incident whilst remaining on the circuit and losing as little time as possible.
So after a fierce debate that raged for literally seconds, please step forward Alan Taylor in car no 32 in the Darren Needham Memorial race! A magificent recovery despite entering our sight in a position set to defy the laws of physics. And he kept his position. If Alan is not a member on here then could someone please pass on this tremendous career altering news*. For the rest of you Mini lot - must try harder! (*disclaimer - may not alter career) |
