No more Promec
Sadly DSC is reporting the the Promec project has come to an end.
While never my favourite and never really likely to challenge for anything serious in the LMES, the series is, in my opinion, worse off for this. The car actually looked reasonably pretty at Monza and the participation of diverse cars like this is something that should be encouraged - one of the things that really appeals about sportscar racing is that the cars look different and teams try different things. More seriously, it's disappointing that the team appears to have folded more or less completely rather than shelving the current chassis and planning for 2006. |
