The 12-race series will visit the British circuit on May 13, were it will run as an evening race.
Don Panoz said,Silverstone will be fantastic. There is a big British presence at the Le Mans 24 Hours, and this is a great opportunity to get the fans warmed up. And for the fans who can't make it to Le Mans this is a chance for them to see Le Mans cars at Silverstone.' ALMS executive director Bill Donaldson added, 'We know from last year that a lot of our fans come from Europe, so the races at Silverstone and the Nurburgring are great opportunities to bring the ALMS to the fans.' |
