Should Production Cars get points in the Touring Class?

This question was raised when the Peroduction class was introduced, as to whether in races where less than 10 cars finish in the Touring race, should the leading production cars then score remaining points, in the same was as drivers in the old Total / Autosport cup did. Of coruse one effect of this would be that the sprint race system would ahve to be abolished (Production cars scoring points for completing less laps of a race seems ridiculous), but what are people's thoughts. I say it should happen, as we are unlikely to ahve more than 20 cars in the Tourers next year, adn it'd give Production cars something else to race for.
