Bike Aero
In Moto GP what are the major considerations with regard to bodywork?
I assume it is just to make it as slippery as possible, allowing for any cooling. Or have I got it completely wrong? Downforce as such doesn't really apply because of the lean angles(?) (although under braking it could help). So is it simply slippery is best? I consider this superficially on and off, but this time it was prompted by Rossi's aero devices by his hands. |
