Anyone see the tour around P&M on Speeds coverage of the Detroit ALMS round?

When talking to a top P&M guy about the future he said they'd ran the Corvette for 8 years and were now in talks to take things to the next level, but could not disclose what that would be.

The next level doesn't sound like GT2 to me, at least not for the factory P&M team.

I'd put money on a Corvette/GM P1 coupe and GT2 customer program.

I really don't see how P&M can now resist P1, and the propect of going up against Audi, Porsche and Acura, they've proven everything they need to prove in GT1. The prospect of a performance balanced GT1/2 future can't be too appetising for a team that thrives on compeittion.
