Will it ever happen?
Gpweek.com are reporting that according to Jerry Burgess, Valentino Rossi informed into getting a ride for the final WSBK round of 2008 at Portimao.
How great would this have been? I think WSBK is a series that will suit Rossi, purely because of the agressive figthing that often goes on. However, is this another way to put Dorna under pressure to get rid of the electronics? Allegedly, the rumor comes from Jerry Burgess, who isn't really somebody to pull these kinda pranks. So, will we ever see VR in WSBK? If it happens it would surely 'kill' motogp, with his fan-base and also a lot of the big manufacturers already in WSBK. |
