A Fine Weekend At Bristol
I'm still boycotting that website, but a friend of mine isn't, and just called to tell me...
For the Busch altercation between Kevin Harvic and Greg Biffle on Saturday, Harvick was fined $15,000 and will be on probation until Aug. 28. Biffle wasn't fined. And for the Winston Cup altercation between Robby Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. on Sunday, Gordon was fined $10,000 and was placed on NASCAR probation for the next five months until Aug. 28. Dale Jr. was fined $5,000, however, was not placed on probation. I checked That's Racin', Jayski's, and CBS Sportsline, and none of them have the story yet.

According to the Official NASCAR Rule Book, Rule 12-4-A, "actions deemed as detrimental to stock car racing", NASCAR should be fined and put on probation.
