Naca style air intake in a flat bottom
Not long ago I have seen a sport car (similar to... lets say a Radical) with flat bottom that had a Naca style air intake in a flat bottom to refrigerate rear brakes.
Initially I laught thinking that was a mistake because the flat bottom area is low pressure - high speed zone and also because those ducts disturb the air going to the rear diffuser. Some weeks later chatting with the car builder he told me those gave them good results... any thoughts on why would somebody put that thing there??? |
