Honda to enter the championship?
The Honda Petrobras Argentine TC2000 team wants to join the WTCC in 2011 or 2012. The car would be the City (sedan version of the Jazz/Fit), which began to be built in Brazil a few months ago, or the Civic sedan. Drivers would be JosĂ© MarĂ*a "Pechito" LĂłpez or Leonel PernĂ*a (2nd in 2009 TC2000) and Carlos "Cacá" Bueno (2006, 2007 and 2009 Stock Car Brazil champion). The project is supported by the Argentine and Brazilian divisions of Honda, and they are looking for support from Japan.
