Could be worse. At least it's green, got useful holes in it and you can get right up to it.

The latest style fencing erected in the UK, take Donington for example, is currently bright silver, even taller and no holes for cameras. OK, it's not as high up a bank but it is about as far away frmo anything that moves on track. No point in even considering any camera options for the new section - the crowd barrier must be about 8ft back from the debris fence.

By comparison the green fencing at Spa is a model of perfection.

Sadly I fear that as fences are replaced at all tracks they will be of the 'new standard'. Effective perhaps, but not pretty of spectator friendly for camera users. Such is progress.
