Roll Cages

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I have a couple of queries and wondered if someone more knowlegable than me could help.

Firstly I have a new FIA cage Safety Devices, for an MGB. This is an homologated cage. But with no door bars. As I understand it, if I weld on saddles and have bolt on door bars, it becomes unhomologated. But if I use the SD horrible clamp arrangement, that is a method of fixing that is not approved.

So if I want door bars, and want to keep it FIA what do I do??

Secondly another MGB with a P+P cage. Front legs have 2 slight bends in them. What are my options apart from getting a new cage built!! I would have thought another tube across one of the bends would suffice.

Maybe Jeremy can advise?

Many thanks

Colin
