Bonneville Speed Week

Folks... it's that time of year again when I switch the racesuit for the super heavy dragster spec one, dust off the arm restraints and dig out the brown underwear to head to the Bonneville Speedway for Speedweek.

And perhaps even seen the short film from Josh Clason after he spent the week with us in 2011



This year we neeed to do the deed, break the 313mph record to become the all time fastest with a 1 litre engine. No excuses and we've got the BBC coming to film it all for a documentary to be shown on BBC2 after Top Gear in Jan 2013. But as with all record breaking, there's a reason why no-ones done it before... it ain't easy.

Now if the boat would actually arrive in California with the car I'd be able to relax a little...
