Jacques would skip the 2003 season and then continue with the team for another two years from 2004 onwards on his orginial terms. This would mean that BAR could save money in the short-term and be able to invest it in the car. Then when the car has improved, Villeneuve would return to partner Jenson Button.

Let's not hope this is true and if it IS true, let's not hope he will do it the Hakkinen way
