The results are in from Australia.

Congratulations to wolfhound and smellysocks, the joint winners of Round 1 and therefore our current championship leaders.

Points were awarded for everything but Social Media Driver of the Day, the idea of which seems to have been scrapped by the FIA or formula1.com, as I couldn't find anything on this. From now on, it looks like this will not form part of the predictions contest. This was unfortunate for Greem who chose Grosjean as Social Media Driver of the Day and he probably would have been a big contender for the vote. In the end, Romain got Ten-Tenths's Driver of the Grand Prix award.

EBXR8 was the only person to correctly guess Haas as Team of the Grand Prix and indeed not only 'if both cars finish' as this user wrote in the predictions thread.

No-one correctly guessed the driver with the fastest lap of the race (which was Ricciardo), nor the team with the fastest pitstop (Williams).

Predictions for Bahrain will open later today.
