2011-present Audi, Porsche and Toyota noses
What are the merits and demerits of their designs exactly? Especially through out the years there seemed to be relatively little performance difference in terms of aero, even with as aggressive as Audi Sport got with their 2016 cars.
Granted, Audi were the only ones who bothered to run the adjustable wing type front diffuser, with Porsche and Toyota using the single plane type. I also wonder if Audi or Porsche could have similar or better aero packaging by adopting the Toyota nose, which seemingly was inspired by the Audi R10 and Bentley Speed 8. |
