ELMS 2020 LMP2 Class
Am wondering if the LMP2 Class for 2020, needs to be renamed, Class Oreca?
Would perhaps seem unlikely there will be any Dallara's. Will any team go and buy a Ligier? Would seem unlikely. Will there be any Ligier's running in 2020? If it turns out to be an Oreca only class, I believe that is down to the inability of the ACO, or political not prepared to do so, to allow updates for both Ligier and Dallara, to balance the performance gap with the Oreca. What is achieved when it becomes a one make only class? That is bad for the sport for sure, and may not help the ELMS to maintain the current growth factor into the nest seasons. |
