F1 and the movies
Lots has been said about F1 needing to provide better footage. Perhaps we should have a Hollywood-hotshot have a go at it to make it more interesting.
Some examples: Tony Scott: Cars don't break down on the cause of non-spectaculair hydraulic failures; they explode in huge balls of fire. Tim Burton: Ferrari's change from bright red to all black. And what are those pointy things on top of Schumi's helmet? David Fincher: At the end, F1 turns out to be an elaborate, pre-planned game (well...) M. Knight Shyamalan: We are left wondering at the end. Perhaps M. Schumacher really is an alien? Woody Allen: David Coulthard is stressed out about Kimi taking over the first driver-spot, and talking about it A LOT on the inboard radio. Much to the annoyance of all. Robert Zemeckis: Ross Brawn climbs the pitwall, shouting out: Drive Micheal, Drive! |
