spleaze should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Aye, those were t'days, back in t'middle of t'90s when all that touring car crowd was big everywhere. Grids were packed, we had loads of big manufacturers, loads of young scalliwags in ex-Cleland Cavaliers in t'Total Cup, we had foreign folks comin' over from t'faraway lands to race in the best series in the world. Races were live on t'telly. In the land o' Germany and Italy, we had classic folks like Pirro and Muller winnin' all them championships, and Super Touring magazine wis coverin' it all. Everywhere, tourin' cars wis big. Even in t'States, in the land o' shagged-out bangers goin' round in circles, David Donowho was thrillin' the crowds in his Dodge. I remember t'1995 season, when it was so intense n'that - ye hid John, Rick and Al goin' into t'final rownds, hittin' each other off and brekin' their gearboxes. Aye, those were t'days. Now we get dem daft weight penalties, only three makes, Tom Krashtensen and a championship dominated by one team. We need to bring in useless wannabes from the BRSCC circus to make up t'grids. Where did it all go wrong?
