BMW effectively has blocked UK Police from their cars as the bad publicity is not good. This tendency of the Police to leave diesel engines idling for hours and then tear up the road is not good for the cars. Or the environment, but I don't see anybody kicking up a stink about that. You'd hope that a copper would be able to twist a key or press a start button...
