He was just .1 sec slower than Pato and .35 slower than Dixon on a 4 mile course in the rain. I was surprised by a lot of the interviews during qualy that many drivers who have been in the series for years claimed to have never driven an Indycar in the rain like this.
Simpson did great and I was also impressed by Siegal. Not to be last with so little seat time was a pretty good run.
