Can Poggiali win it?

Manuel Poggiali has moved up to the 250cc class in 2003 after two successful years in 125cc racing, including a world championship in 2001.

Manuel has joined the Aprilia factory squad for 2003 and has already been setting some scintillating time during testing.

Question is, does Manuel have a chance of winning the title in his debut year? He knows the tracks, would be establishing a relationship with team and bike, and he's obviously talented enough to win at the highest level.

IMO the guy has a chance of taking the title, but will have some stiff competition from the likes of Toni Elias, Fonsi Nieto and Robbie Rolfo.
