Coca-Cola 600
Hendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson grabbed the pole for Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at the 1.5-mile Lowe's Motor Speedway. The No.48 Lowe's Chevrolet driver posted a record lap of 28.869 seconds (187.052 mph) to better Ryan Newman's 2003 mark of 28.930 seconds.
