Best ever meeting??

Ok, a slightly pointless topic.. but what would be your ideal meeting.. where would it be and what would you have all day?? Or have you already been to it??

Perhaps Goodwood Revival is the nearest I've come to, but what about:

Spa.

Mini's (any)
Thoroughbread GP
Grp C Revival
Belgian Procar
Any Formula Ford
European (National) Saloon series (there should be one)
Pre 1960's F1 (just to get some Castrol R floating about)

Anything else??

I would dearly love to see a club race meeting at Mt Panorama, Bathurst.
How about:-
1. Improved Production Touring Cars.
2. Historic Touring Cars.
3. Group C Touring Cars.
4. Sports Sedans.
5. Saloon Cars
6. Formula Vee. (Hey, you gotta have a lunch break.)

Silverstone Lotus Night Race

One of the best races I've seen to date was the Elise Sport night race at Silverstone last weekend....it started to drizzle just as they lined up on the grid and it wasn't declared a wet race, so the poor lads were out there on slicks for the duration. Fantastic close racing, suicidal overtaking manoevres and outbraking into corners like kamikaze pilots, and on slicks on a slippery track, mega! In the last few laps of the race the leading 5 cars must have changed places about 4 times....but what was more impressive is the total lack of accidents and car damage from such a difficult race, which to me is a testimony to all the driver's skills.

Set your videos for Channel 4 early Tues morning (12th) because it will be on TV. Of course I am a little biased as my boyfriend finished 3rd in that very race *cough*, and he had an in-car camera too, so watching him on TV should be amusing.....
