Hello Kicking Back, I do not doubt your information is correct but might I ask where you have gotten this info? I agree both IRL and Champ Car futures look brigther with spec series. I would also push for one chassis provider in the IRL.

Yeah, but I was thinking about the comments by Clarke, which I'm quite sure were, at the time he said it, aimed at 2007.

With that said I'm sure they would be able to support the entire field in 2006 already, if it came to that, even though I'm guessing some of the smaller teams currently with Toyota-engines will have a tough time getting a Honda-deal for 2006...

If the IRL allows Toyota to re-do the heads then they might be competitive against the Honda.
