What type of cars would you most want to race against?
Which type of cars would most like to race against if you had to (on either a road, or on a professional race track), assuming you'd be driving (if money wasn't a limitation) the preferred type of car that you'd want to race against it. |

Anyone who races on the road should be used as a crash test dummy to bother advance automotive safety and stop them killing someone else. That especially includes all the morons in scoobies, evo's etc that are under the impression that they would have a chance against my 650BHP/Ton motorbike if I was immature enough to bother trying.
On the track, anything that will put up a good race without trying to damage my car intentionally. |

Carfreek . I would race against anything in anything that I could fit into
(6ft 2) I stopped driving fast on the road years ago but I would put(and still do) my old 60s tintop against most modern stuff on the circuits. Its impossible and stupid to even try to drive as fast on the road as on the track, you will find that out pretty quick ! |

you can't race on the road its stupid, dangerous and illegal - I'd like to race against people with the same skill level and performance as me - be it in single seaters or prototypes thus ensuring close racing and good dices.
Though the cars should have slightly different abilities (better straight line etc..) and have technical freedom within reason - whats that youu say? Formula vee! |

Lets see. I race a 440bhp corvette, and I race against lots of other corvettes, vipers, a few porsches, some turbo charged Mazda Rx8s and turbo charge Toyota Celicas and many Mustangs.
I think I would like to try Grand AM DPs if I ever get the opportunity Never on public roads, only in sanction races. On public roads I drive like a grand-pa going to chuch. |

Funnily enough we had a similar sort of post on another forum I frequent, along the lines of why isn't there an xxxxx versus other cars section. Guy got very abusive when we being told exactly what is being said on this thread - racing is for tracks and anyone who races on the road is a *&%$£! (insult own favourite profanity here) |

To be honest I find the question (post 1) a very strange one, it is something like who was born when, where and why?
Roadracing: put them all against a wall and ......... Proper racing: all is okay if you are a real racer. |
