Great day. Only got back today as was doing the AMOC meeting the following day. Lots of nice Clubmans and a seemingly neverending horde of Caterhams.

Big thanks to all the marshals who endured the rain for this (I saw a few Ten-Tenths badges on the startline guys). Saw some fantastic marshalling at Brooklands, getting stranded cars back out quickly. Apologies for some driving under yellows at the same corner in the first Super-Graduates race. I'd like to think it was over-enthusiasism in difficult conditions rather than malice (and in their defence, being in the middle of a 40 car pack is quite difficult) - rest assured, they got a "telling off" from the Clerk and our driving standards guys.

Big thank you to all the marshals especially those on pits and start.Lots of pre gridding in the pits by the startline and pits team, (Edward, I bet your the fittest bloke in the Southern Hemisphere ).Some very good racing, well done to those Caterham guys who spun on the the pit straight and caught it without damage and commiserations to those who didn't. All with a lunch break and sensible finish time.Sorry about the weather though.
Thanks again all.

Not sure about the Southern Hemisphere Nick, some of those All Blacks rugby players look as though they have a fairly high standard of fitness.

Another good BARC meeting I have done at Silverstone.
Thanks to Ed and his startline buddy for helping us to grid the races in the pits. Much appreciated.

Didn't see much of the racing (due to griding) except for the last race which was a cracker.

Many thanks to the pits crew, we must do it again sometime. But I might invest in a mini-moto, segway or some other motorised personal transport for the trip down the pitlane.

Thanks to ALL the Marshals for putting up with me and making me me feel welcome, whilst Andy was skiving off for the weekend!
A great job was done by one and all despite the slightly damp weather. It was my first trip to Silverstone for many years and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hope to see you all soon.

Fred
