I just wanted to thank the marshalls at Maggotts, for their help in the Future Classic race on Saturday.
I didn't think I'd be back out in my Toyota MR2 #381 after throwing it into the wall in qualifying, but as they say - never give up! It was good to see you guys on the green flag lap and a class win seemed an impossibility earlier in the day.

It wasn't nice to see you come hard into the wall and gravel, and I suspect that most of us thought your chances of coming back were as low as your morale at that point too.

It was a delight to see you out again for the race - mutual manic waving on the green flag lap pretty well summed up both sides. I didn't realise that you managed a class win - we can see you progress up the field, but the tannoy points away from us, so details of most finishes are unknown

Just back in from a much dryer day - nobody wanted to stick around in our gravel bed today

Hope to see you again - but only from a distance

CSCC - one of the best clubs to turn out and marshal for, nice cars and good friendly waves from so many folk who seemed to enjoy their track time.
