Semsec on facebook.
Hey guys and girls.
Just to let you know that that SEMSEC has now got its own facebook page. SEMSECs philosophy is to promote clubman level motor sport to the widest possible audience. Most of our events are run at the Lydden Hill Circuit, but we also run an event at Brands Hatch. A nice group of people who I have raced with for many years, take a look or come down for a visit! |

SEMSEC
I would like to back up what minicross man said. Personally, I have raced with SEMSEC for many years off and on, and you will always get a good, clean fantastic race with someone. There is a nice atmosphere and it's a pleasant day out. silver/pink clio

Ok, forget that, Ive found you. Dont search SEMSEC but South East Motorsports... Can only "like" the site, not join it to see all posts as they occur?? Perhaps its me, computers...Let me know. Thanks, Dave

Thanks! Must be Andy Stevens...? Pete Thurston wont thank me for telling you all this, but hes just finishing a 1961 Mini I gave him to do, in black, might have a pink square on it somewhere, just a bit modified with arches, (he reckons theyre as wide as the car), big bore, deseamed with a Cooper engine, that was already in it. Got an MOT, so watch the A2 soon....

My dad has a 1960 mini that has been dried stored for 20 plus years. He plans to do it up one day. |

I've just had a look at the Lydden web site, it looks like SEMSEC will be the only car racing at the circuit this season!
I'm going to pop over tomorrow, anyone know who's entered? |

I know Tris and his mini as well as Bill and Mary are going. Plus i believe Stratton McKay and his Imprezza are entered.
Autosport list the RAF MSA series as racing, is this true? Hope so as the last race i saw by them at Lydden was excellent! See everyone tomorrow  Simon |

Hi guys - tis a good entry this weekend.
Theres 19 in the RAF MSA race and similar numbers in the saloons too. Even the signle seaters are showing an upturn in figures. Looking like a good day weather too. Sprint in the morning has a good entry too with the TVR boys having a good turn out. Come down for a good honest proper club racing day out. Sprint practice from 9am, with race practice from 12:30!!! |

Really sad to say that i had to pull out from this meet, my wife has been taken ill. Race well everyone, was really looking forward to giving the new car her debut with the SEMSEC guys, but rest assured i will be along for the rest of the series,,,,,,,,

Was a great day today with some good racing, the second i think its the meridian challange, was a good race, with the two Radicals racing well.
Does anyone have an email for the TVR boys, one of the guys asked if i could send over a couple of images but my phones died so i cant access it. Has anyone heard whether the person who was driving the ELF single seaters is alright? Many thanks Dex Last edited by dex92; 14 Apr 2012 at 19:59. |

Yes I have spoken to him today and he is fine, although he reckons he looks like he has been painted by a graffiti artist in certain bodily areas. Was taken to Margate where he had a full medical and was passed as "fit". |
