Sebastian Vettel, for the best drive I've seen from him for a long time. Canada 2019, maybe? Shout out also to Norris, Verstappen, Gasly, Sainz, Giovinazzi.

Norris, a well deserved podium. I hope they keep that livery.

Vettel, the Red Bull drivers and Sainz all impressed. Not bad runs for Norris, Stroll, and Giovinazzi either. A good day for many on the grid, but a surprisingly bad one for some...

I went for Verstappen - but it was all follow the leader, so its hard to pick one over another. Hats off to the other podium finishers and to Perez for gaining a few places, and of course Vettel for an unexpectedly good result.

I voted for Norris and was very pleased to see that Vettel hasn't forgotten how to drive.

"Follow the leader" is a good term there which does make it hard to pick one stand-out driver. I went for Max given his flawless, if a little regimented, run.
Honourable mentions to Sainz, Norris, Perez, Vettel, Gasly and Gio [we seem to be all in the same boat today!]. |

With so little racing going on (and what there was, performed by the team strategists), it’s hard to choose. Contenders could be Verstappen, Sainz, Norris or Vettel. I chose Lando because of the huge margin over his teammate.

Got to give it to Max. Yet another triumph for Red Bull on a track that's been so kind to them in the past and not just in their current guise either

I think Carlos did a really good job in the red car, and Seb did a good job in the green one. But, I think the latter was a team effort and they got my team vote. So, for staying focused and keeping a good trajectory I give this one to Lando. He maximized the potential, which I think what Driver of the Day is all about.
That brings me to Max. I really don't see him as the Driver of anything, as he started with an open goal and ran with it. He is one of the top four, has the best car and started at the front. He should win this one! everything else would have been total failure. Was it a deserved win? Sure it was, but just was what to be expected. IMNSHO. Also, what is that Russian mobster's son doing in F1 again? |

EDIT: Of course, bearing in mind, that he is human and is as privy to a mistake as anybody else...not to mention his team. |

Granted. I guess I am just thinking that if he is so damn good, I almost demand he win during these circumstances, and some other races as well this year. OTOH, it might be my reaction to Horner harping on how great Max is. Just win then! So, sure it did not make any mistakes and in Monaco it is tough. I think I've seen better drives by him, though. |
