Is black and white OK? I don't have a colour printer.

I like how you have to TYPE your details!
I wouldn't staple it as that could make things difficult when scanning the form. If anyone wants their new grade on it before they send it back catch me at Combe next meeting. Lee |

If the MSA say glue it on then glue it on - after all, if it all goes 'Pete Tong', you can have a new thread to moan about it

Just had an email from the MSA saying they've received my application etc etc. Wow not only to the MSA but to the Post Office

I assume the MSA are scanning/OCR processing the forms, attempting to match the data against the existing database and then just manually sorting out any mismatches - thats how I would have done it anyway! Staples just bugger up the scanning process. Also, as the photo is on the reverse of the part of the form where the tick boxes are, it is possible too get the reverse of the staple as a tick. More work for the MSA |

Guys - Why not justfollow the process the MSA has requested - KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid! If they want glue then use glue. If you staple through your pici it may well not scan and it can also bugger up (technical term) the scanning equipment - plus it's a bum aching task to unstaple passport photos without damaging the photo

I just use a piece of sellotape like a stamp hinge, works well.
Does this mean another piece of plastic to hang around my neck or are they putting all disciplines onto one registration card, in my case timekeeper and marshal. |

But why put it round your neck? There is no need and it just gets in the way. Regards Jim |

So to the next daft question, Im already a registered "Buddy" but I'm damned if I can find my attendance cert. Its on my current license, will that be sufficient to have it on my new one? Only ask as the form asks for certs?

Not a daft question! I can't see why they would need proof of eligibility for existing grades; I suspect that's been included because the form can also be used for upgrades.

i was also tempted to do the same for the photo as i hold an officials licence from the MSA for a local Motor club as well as my BMMC grade but for this i did attach a photo Just need to wait and see, the other thing will be to see if they expect us to wear them as an ID as is expected of the officials |

Yeh I had the same shock when I went in my local Asda today to use the photo booth in there. Five Quid, but I did get 5 photo's instead of the usual 4, but cant understand why they think I need 5.

I'll 4th that, as it is an existing grade you shouldn't have to provide any supporting documentation. Steve |
