Personally I'm hoping that it's the other way 'round and GTR gets to ram it so far up Bradley's that Bradley can't sit in a car for the whole of next season
you mean you'd prefer to see a sponsor pull there money out of V8 Supercars just because of what went on between GTR and BJR? I don't even thing GTR would want that to happen

TheMan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
BJR`s deal with Ozemail ends at the end of next season. They have also signed a bigger deal with Enzed. Both drivers will remain intact for at least one more season. Thats my prediction anyway. ha

Not at all, but if if you'd gone to the lengths that that team went to belittle GTR, wouldn't you be a little cockey if you were proven right?

Nothing against GTR, i am just trying to work out the fact's maam.

No Keiron, I don't want any sponsors to walk, but I can think of plenty of places I'd rather see the money.

On the other hand if it is true and Ozemail are gone, then you won't be able to extricate me from the floor I'll be laughing so hard at Bradley's little (to steal a term from paydriver here) "smoke and mirrors" game.

After BJR having tried so hard to convince the world that GTR was lying, wouldn't you be laughing if BJR turns out to be the liars?????

Yeah I guess I'd be a cocky little sh!te too...... but does that work in reverse for GTR if he's proven right and the $$$ really do walk???

Speaking for myself, you bet!

Maybe the much rumoured GTR press response might even see the light of day......

You will never know if they are liars or not though.

It could have been that BJR was discussing a contract renewal with Ozemail at the time of the incident, and a rumour going public saying Bowe was leaving could have put a big question mark on a new deal being struck.
As a team owner would you be impressed with that getting out, and would you be attempting to quell it any way you could?

As had been said may times, this sort of stuff is potentially damaging to teams and peoples livelyhoods so you can understand Jones' outburst to a certain degree.

Well one thing I can tell you for sure JB will not be going to the shell team. DJR have a clause in their contract stating that they will be given 12 months notice of termination. I believe Dick has received notice (or is going to ) in the next 2 weeks. I have an impecable source who is very high up in the Shell corporation and I believe this to be a fact.

I believe Morris' solicitors were told to go and get their paperwork sorted out and given 21 days. All of the teams have been dropped from the litigation.

Are you serious Lryis?????? I would be ashamed of half the things you have written in this topic!! Just because you have a problem with Brad or BJR, does not give you the right to have a go at people like that.... If you don't have anything nice to say, shut your big month & keep it to yourself!!!!!!! (only wish I took my own advice!!!). Please remember the people you are talking about are reading these forums & do not deserve to be spoken about like this!!!

There are 3 sides to every story. Yours, mine & the truth!!

Rather than watch another post that includes my team spiral out of control, let me clear up a couple of facts...
1. My brother and I spend 30% of our time looking for sponsors - we have done for the last 20 years and will continue to do so until we finish in this sport.
2. Our OzEmail deal is due for renewal at the end of this year and we have been given no indication that it is not going to continue on - in fact, just the opposite.
3. John Bowe has agreed to drive for our team next year and for a long time into the future.
None of this is anybody's business except the people concerned. Hopefuly this will end some of the more malicious speculation.
Lyris, it seems you have quite a problem with me. I will not get into a debate with you on here about whatever your issues are, but feel free to call me again.
I spoke to GTR about racecars and how they work, drivers and rumours and at no stage did we discuss budgets or sponsors. I would also like to say that I respect the fact that he has done as he said he would.

Why is it that all the people with hazy or cracked crystal balls, and those who post speculation fuelled by the mist of recreational drugs, suddenly go AWOL when challenged by the subject of the same speculation??????????

If you're all that obsessed with predicting the future, how about you give me the winner of Race 5 in Sydney tomorrow...

I understand that TEGA had spent a lot of team members funds on trying to get Nemo's law suit dismissed and when they got to court they TEGA gave in like a stalled car on the grid the court gave TEGA and Nemo strict times to finalise their actions the solicitors for Nemo were very happy with the results TEGA and AVESCO are still trying to justify how they distrbute funds unequally especially when they need the level 2 teams to fulfill the contracts with the promoters and various tourist bodies
