Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS

Current machine as standard comes without soundcard, and this is the only option (for an additional £64.63). Are there any problems I might encounter with this card?

I'd like to have 1024MB RAM instead of the current 512MB, as that's what last week's offer had, but I don't fancy the extra ~£120. It shouldn't be too much of a problem to have 512 should it?
the important question is . what ATI . at least 9600XT
the sound card is good ..
you can upgrade later . as ayse did . cheaper . 512 would be good enough .

Just before this slips off the front page and into oblivion...

*ahem* Ladies and gentlemen...

I NOW HAVE BROADBAND!!!!!!!!

Just managed to get my Pipex connection and Speedtouch modem working about 45 mins ago (after about an hour of the usual setup trials and tribulations). It's just about what I expected actually - ie. coooooolio, hehe First things I did with my new-found power were indulge in such luxuries which would have seemed totally inconcievable on dial-up... 130kb/s downloads (compared to 3kb/s before...), and, my God, streaming video!! lol.

Right, time for bed then...

Oh, and one other "small detail"...

I've also now got the puter (Dimension 8400 3GHz from Dell - £900 inc installation - ouch!), and the router (LinkSys WRT54G)!

However...

They're all still in their boxes! Dad decided (in all his wisdom) right at the time my computer arrives, that my room needs to be completely gutted and get repainted! So once that's all finished (probably by about Monday), we'll get the installation manny out and everything'll be hunky-dory (he says now...)
