i'm car sharing with bar babe (ruth), we're aiming to be there around 2 or 3, i think, sometime around there. luckily, i'm not driving, so we won't end up in birmingham.....

Just called Oulton Park again and they have confirmed that the campsite will not be opening until about 17:30.

ESCAPED ANIMALS AT OULTON PARK
PRESS RELEASE from www.hylabreese.co.uk:

Two kangaroos have escaped near the scenic Oulton Park race circuit in Cheshire, a spokesperson revealed today. Circuit owners are worried incase the marsupials wander onto the track during this weekend's touring car races, so spectators are advised to keep their eyes open for anything with large feet and a big tail (no Invader, not you....!).

However, it is thought that the pouched escapees would prefer to watch the Lotus Sport race and cheer on their native hereo, the Ozzie Hyla Breese.

They are also absolutely HUGE!

But they will be kept under control by myself, Invader, Woody, Minardi Fan, Bella, etc... come to think of it, they'd probably be better behaved on their own

I'll be camping at Oulton this weekend even though I only live 40mins away from the circuit. I'll probably be joining you all on the Saturday evening and this time I'll bring the others across to say hello.
I'll be getting there for as soon as the campsite opens at about 5pm so no doubt I'll see some of you there later on today.

What a fantastic weekend!

We loved Skippy and Dano, got some more B&Q flags, made some noise, annoyed lots of people, stole some property, eat loads of food.. What more could you want!

Thanks every one for making the weekend so memorable. Gotta do it again

Hehehe glad the 'roos "went down" so well (specially on Dave so it seemed!) I was chuffed they got filmed for Chequered Flag too so you've not got to forget to set your videos this time! Maybe the baying mob at Knickerbrook caught the camera too.

I know that Hyla was mega-grateful for all the support and noise made by you lot, we really have to get him to the barbecue next time!! No escape!
