I guess he is Ayse! Really though, I wrote that off as a racing incident. It will be interesting to see if Alonso has the car to take the WDC in what now seems to be a straight fight betwixt Messrs Vettel and Alonso.

I'll guarentee, had Lewis or Fernando had a car to do what Seb did on sunday, alot more people would be going on about how well they drove and dominated and i'd bet my life that they would have recieved more than 8%. Last edited by Mr V; 9 Oct 2012 at 13:52. |

Got to give it to Fingerman. He dominated it again.
Good drives from Kobawashabi and Massa(although don't count on keeping your job Felipé). |

Kobayashi maru! because he is an underdog and didnt expect him to hold on to 3rd.
also got a vote for the classy way he handled the podium celebration. this is probably not the spot for it but its weird that they have them in front of the crowd but dont let them first address them in their own language. Koby was classy i thought when he translated Vettel's kind words to the crowd. |

Interesting that Alonso has got as many votes as Button, yet only went 200 yards !

Yes, the vote for Alonso as driver of the race is about as puzzling as they get.
I can only assume it was posted by QnickFTW's long-lost Italian cousin....... |

That's because they didn't put "Teflonso", it would do wonders.

Good plan, it isn't as simple as just looking at who dominated.
If we all had the same criteria then the poll would be quite boring. People are allowed, encouraged, to vote for who they like with whatever criteria they like. You can even vote for Webber if you want to! |

Vettel. Pole, start to finish and fastest lap. You could see him control the race through sector times on T&S, he was very strong this week.
This season is over the top, nobody has yet to claim dominance, Vettel's two in a row came from a McLaren gearbox gift in Singapore. Massa showed Ferrari has pace and McLaren has been strong all year. Hopefully it goes right down to the end, what a season! |

I voted for Kobayashi because that was just a fantastic drive. The first time all year a Sauber qualified and raced strongly. And under pressure for a drive with the expectant home fans too. Brilliant, a long overdue performance from him.
But I would have loved to have voted for Massa as well, so happy for the guy. |

I'm a Vettel fan and like to think he will prove to be one of the all time greats but imo it's a bit early in his career to make that debate. It's hard to determine his true skill level when racing for a team with the largest pockets funding (arguably) the best engineer. The kid is quick, very quick, and seems to display very high intelligence and the ability to improve. In the past few years the RBR cars have been a force, in time maybe we'll see Seb find success in a different car. We may even be debating him as driver of this generation, not just race. |
